triPOS^®

The triPOS service accepts a tip details in several transactions. triPOS can modify tip settings using PATCH /cloudapi/v1/lanes/{{laneId}}/configuration endpoint.

The tipSelections in configuration allows you to:

• Tell triPOS to prompt for predefined dollar amounts on the PIN pad
• Tell triPOS to prompt for 'Other' or 'None' on the PIN pad

Behaviors

The following are the defaults and validation errors of tip in PATCH /cloudapi/v1/lanes/{{laneId}}/configuration endpoint:

• If set isTipAllowed = true, tip is enabled for all the transactions.
• If tipSelections is set to an improper value, the error is Selection values must be a comma-separated list of decimal numbers, ‘none’ or ‘other’.
