Using an Unattended Device

triPOS supports both attended and unattended devices. Unattended devices must be properly configured to comply with our certifications. When using an unattended device, be sure to set isUnattended to true in the triPOS.config for each lane that contains an unattended device. If the device will be used to process EMV transactions, make sure to use the correct triPOS.EMV.config file as directed by our certification experts. Unattended devices may not support certain capabilities such as PIN or Signature, so see the individual page for the unattended device you are implementing. The triPOS.EMV.config needs to reflect that both in the AID's included and the Terminal Capability Code value. Please do not change the triPOS.EMV.config unless instructed by our certification team. Please read the specififc documentation for each unattended device for more information (Self 4000 or the Self 3000).
